1. Introduction & Overview

QuoteRestore ("we", "our", or "us"), operating at quoterestore.com, provides automated estimate follow-up software for commercial trade contractors and service professionals. We are committed to protecting personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Our Roles: Data Controller vs. Data Processor

For Account Holders (Contractors): We act as the Data Controller for information you provide during signup (your name, business name, email address, mobile number, and payment details).

For Customer Estimates (Homeowners): When you input your customer's contact details (name, phone number, quote amount), you act as the Data Controller, and QuoteRestore acts strictly as a Data Processor carrying out automated communications on your instruction.

3. Data We Collect & How We Use It

  • Account Data: Business name, email, mobile phone number (used for authentication and sending instant reply notifications).
  • Quote & Contact Data: Customer names, phone numbers, job descriptions, and quote figures (used exclusively to deliver scheduled SMS follow-ups).
  • Billing Data: Payment transaction metadata handled securely via Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.

4. Sub-Processors & Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or monetize personal data. We transfer data only to trusted infrastructure providers essential to delivering our service:

  • Supabase Inc. — Encrypted database and user authentication.
  • Twilio Inc. — SMS messaging gateway and mobile carrier delivery.
  • Stripe Payments Europe Ltd — Payment processing and subscription management.
  • Vercel Inc. — Cloud hosting and serverless execution.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Customer estimate data is retained only while your account is active or until you delete the quote from your dashboard. When an account is terminated, all associated quote records and contact logs are permanently removed from our active database within 30 days.

6. Your Rights Under UK GDPR
